Meeta Yadav, MBBS, DCH, a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Ashutosh Mangalam, was selected as a trainee on an Institutional National Research Service Award (NRSA T90) from the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research. This funding, available through the Institutional Training Program in Oral Health Research at the College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, will support Dr. Yadav's research examining the role of the oral microbiome in multiple sclerosis. She will be co-mentored by Dr. David Drake, Professor of Microbiology in the Iowa Institute for Oral Health Research and the Department of Endodontics in the College of Dentistry.
