Dr. Snow was nominated by peers and elected by Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) members to a two year term as the solid tumor subdivision representative to the training and education committee of AMP. The training and education committee oversees, develops, and implements educational materials and events such as courses, webinars, curricula, mentoring of trainees, and education in molecular pathology including the Molecular Genetic Pathology Board Review Course and the Molecular Pathology Outreach Course. Members of this committee also judge the Young Investigator Award (YIA) posters and moderate sessions at the annual meeting. Other service opportunities include identifying and coordinating molecular diagnostic educational sessions upon invitation from other organizations including College of American Pathologists (CAP) and American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
