Katherine Gibson-Corley DVM, PhD has accepted an invitation to serve on the Editorial Board at Veterinary Pathology for a three-year term beginning this fall. Veterinary Pathology is the official journal of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, the European College of Veterinary Pathologists, and the Japanese College of Veterinary Pathologists; and is of key importance for communicating scientific advances in veterinary pathology to veterinarians and researchers worldwide. Veterinary Pathology is the premier international publication of basic and applied research involving domestic, laboratory, wildlife, marine and zoo animals, and poultry. Bridging the divide between natural and experimental diseases, the journal details the diagnostic investigations of diseases of animals; reports experimental studies on mechanisms of specific processes; provides unique insights into animal models of human disease; and presents studies on environmental and pharmaceutical hazards.

Dr. Gibson-Corley is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and serves as Director of the Comparative Pathology Laboratory. Dr. Gibson-Corley’s research is broadly focused on the study of animal models of human disease with specific interests in the ferret model of Cystic Fibrosis, as well as animal models of head and neck cancer, breast cancer and pre-eclampsia
