Meredith Parsons, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology

Introduction

Dr. Parsons joined UI Pathology on July 31, 2023, as part of our transfusion medicine and clinical microbiology services within Clinical Pathology. She received her M.D. from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and is a former Pathology Extern. She also completed the Clinical Pathology Residency Program, Medical Microbiology Fellowship, and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship here at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Outside of work she enjoys tending to her absurd number of houseplants and equally absurd cats, as well as “old lady” crafting and dreaming about new travel destinations.
