At the September 3, 2021 State of the Department Address, Dr. Eva Tsalikian was honored with the inaugural "Dr. Eva Tsalikian Award for Faculty Service Excellence". This award will be given by the Department Chair on an annual basis. Dr. Tsalikian received a crystal award individually, and there will be a wall plaque with her photo hung in Pediatrics with spaces to name subsequent recipients. The inscription on the plaque reads:

"This annual award in the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is presented to a faculty member who has exhibited outstanding years of service to the Department, commitment to seeing the Department excel, and has earned meritorious respect from their peers. This award highlights an individual who represents not only the best in service excellence, but the best in humanity through their dedication, service, excellence, and humanism."

Presenting Dr. Tsalikian with the award is Dr. Alexander G. Bassuk, who just started as Chair of the Department on 9/1/2021. Thank you, Dr. Tsalikian, for your innumerable contributions to the success of the Department over the decades!
