Please welcome Dr. Michael Halyko as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology.

Dr. Halyko received his medical degree (MD) from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2015. He completed pediatric residency training at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in 2018. Recently, he completed fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. He is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Dr. Halyko will provide care to the patients requiring treatment for hematologic malignancies. He will be attending on the inpatient and consultation services. His clinical research interests are focused on designing and leading novel therapeutic trials for hematologic malignancies under the umbrella of Children’s Oncology Group (COG).
