It is my pleasure to announce Dr. Sreenath Thati Ganganna as Interim Division Director of the Division of Neurology effective September 1, 2021 while the search for a permanent Division Director is ongoing.
Dr. Thati Ganganna earned his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in 2003. He then completed pediatric residency training in 2007 from the University College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India, followed by pediatric residency at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center in 2012. Subsequently, he completed pediatric fellowship training in Child Neurology from Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals & Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a fellowship in epilepsy in 2016 and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology in 2017 at University of Michigan Health System. Upon graduation, Dr. Thati Ganganna has worked as a Pediatric Neurology Attending Physician at Nemours Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.
Dr. Thati Ganganna joined the Department in July 2019 as an epileptologist. His clinical responsibilities include holding epilepsy clinics, reading EEGs, and sharing in the coverage of the neurology inpatient and consultation services. Since March 2021 Dr. Thati Ganganna has been Clinical Director for the Division of Neurology.
