The grant titled "Interdisciplinary Training Project in Special Education and School Psychology" is a training grant from the Office of Special Education in the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), so all objectives are focused on the outcomes of the graduate students. The focus of the training is to prepare students in intensive interventions and assessment for school-aged children with disabilities who have high intensity needs. This was an amazing team effort, particularly in the middle of the pandemic, to ge thet grant submitted, no less approved. The DOE only funded four grants in what is always a highly competitive competition.
Drs. Kelly Schieltz and Matt O'Brien from the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (pictured) will be co-PI's, while Allison Bruhn from the College of Education will be principal investigator.
