Welcome to the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa. We are Iowa’s only comprehensive pediatric academic medical center and a national leader in pediatric medicine.
Our department currently includes just over 200 faculty, 50 residents, 2 chief residents, and 33 specialty trainees. Our University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is driving the growth and expansion of our programs and will ensure our commitment to excellence.
