Heidi Harmon, MD, MS

Clinical Professor of Pediatrics-Neonatology

Introduction

Dr. Harmon studied Anthropology at Case Western Reserve University before going on to earn her Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, completed her Pediatrics residency (2007) at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. From 2007 to 2011, she served as Pediatric Medical Officer for the Tséhootsooí Medical Center in Fort Defiance, Arizona. She returned to Case Western in 2011 for her Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship and Master of Science in Clinical Investigation, finishing both in 2014.

Dr. Harmon joined Pediatrics faculty at University of Iowa in 2014. She has served as Director for the High Risk Infant Follow-Up Program since 2018 and Co-director of the NeuroNICU Program since 2019.
