Lauren Bodilly, MD, MS

Associate of Pediatrics

Introduction

Dr. Bodilly joined the Division of Critical Care on July 5, 2022 as a physician scientist with a research focus in obesity-related immune changes in critical illness. She attends on both of the PICU inpatient teams, shares on-call responsibilities, participates in teaching and educational activities within the Department and helps continue the development of the Critical Care program in the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics.

Research Interests

  • Current research interests include the impact of obesity on animal models of sepsis and bacterial pneumonia. In addition to basic science investigations, Dr. Bodilly will utilize her training in translational research to incorporate human studies.
