Leeanne Flygt, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Introduction

Dr. Flygt began as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Critical Care on September 6, 2022.

Dr. Flygt received her MD from University of Michigan Medical School in 2016. She completed her pediatric residency in 2019 at the University of North Carolina Hospitals – Chapel Hill and recently completed critical care fellowship training at the same institution on June 30, 2022. Dr. Flygt is board certified in Pediatrics and is board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Flygt serves the Division of Critical Care as an intensivist. She will attend both PICU inpatient teams, share on-call responsibilities, participate in teaching and educational activities within the Department and to help continue the development of the Critical Care program in the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics. Her current interests include medical education and long-term PICU outcomes.
