Introduction

Dr. Samuel Wong studied Mathematics in his undergraduate degree at Carleton College in Northfield, MN (2004). He earned his medical degree at Midwestern University in 2011 and trained as Pediatrics resident at University of Minnesota through 2014. He completed his Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at Indiana University in 2017, concurrently with a Master of Science in Clinical Research. For the next two years, he worked as a neonatologist at Indiana University and then Northwest Permanente in Oregon.

Dr. Wong joined Pediatrics as faculty in 2020. Since 2022, he has served as Director for Phase 2 Pediatrics Medical Student Education, Interim Director of Pediatrics Transport, and Director of the NICU Circumcision Team. In February 2025, Dr. Wong became the Medical Director of Neonatal Transport.
