Weiren Liu, a medical student (2021) in the Carver College of Medicine was admitted to the Carver College of Medicine Humanism Honor Society, an honor reserved for only 15% of the graduating class. He has volunteered hours of his time decorating masks for our pediatric patient population undergoing radiation therapy. The election to this society is supported by peers, staff, residents and faculty and is awarded to students who are "exceptional in their compassionate and respectful relationships with patients, families, peers and staff".
