Free Radical and Radiation Biology Program

The Free Radical and Radiation Biology Program is an interdisciplinary graduate program that provides students with a fundamental grounding in Free Radical Biology and Radiation Biology. The PhD program offered through the Free Radical and Radiation Biology program is the only one of its kind in the world and ranked in the top third of doctoral programs by the National Research Council. A robust curriculum prepares students for academic life by immersing them in laboratory work early in their career and encourages academic rigor through the leading of numerous journal clubs, presentation of research and requiring them to take their PhD comprehensive exams by their sixth semester.
