Department of Urology Physician Assistant and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Fellowship

We are currently offering a 12-month postgraduate Physician Assistant and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program that is linked to the only Urology Residency Program in the state of Iowa. As a urology PA or ARNP fellow you will have the opportunity to specialize in the field of urology while working alongside physician residents and experienced clinicians at one of the top medical centers in the country.

Our fundamental philosophy is to:

  • Train urology Physician Assistants and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners with the core competencies and skills sets allowing them to practice in any adult or pediatric surgical setting, including clinic, OR, and inpatient
  •  Provide flexibility in training to meet individualized learning needs
  •  Foster academic urology through scientific discovery, expertise in urology subspecialties, and peer to peer learning

We are accepting applications for July 1, 2017.

  2. Provide a curriculum vitae.
  3. Summarize your training background, areas of particular strength and interest, and a brief description of how you would hope to utilize and apply your fellowship training.
