Heath Conf Room (4-403 BSB)		 BSURF Orientation Session (Day 1)
  • 10:30 - Tour of the department: Dr. Kris DeMali, Professor and Interim Chair and DEO, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB)
  • 11:30 - Obtain UI Iowa One ID badge: Sonya Housholder (students must bring a valid, approved form of government-issued photo ID)
  • 12:00 - Lunch
  • Students go to their respective lab.
   
Tuesday, May 21st

  •  9:00 - Overview/Breakfast: Dr. Kris DeMali, Professor and Interim Chair and DEO, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB)
  • 10:00 - Microscopy Core tour: Randy Nessler, Core Facility Research Manager (Sonya Housholder will escort students to the Core)
  • 10:45 - Obtain UI Iowa One ID badge (if needed): Sonya Housholder (students must bring a valid, approved form of government-issued photo ID)
  • Students return to their respective lab.
