How to Participate

Thank you for your interest in PReventing Emerging Infections through Vaccine EffectiveNess Testing (Project PREVENT). PREVENT is public health surveillance project being conducted at 20 U.S. hospitals to measure the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines. This project is being funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

If you are a health care worker, you have been recently tested for COVID-19, and your hospital is participating, you may qualify to participate in Project PREVENT. You do not need to have received a COVID-19 vaccine and you do not need to have a positive COVID-19 test. If you qualify for the project, you will not be given any vaccines or treatments. We will ask you to complete two surveys about your illness, your exposures, vaccines you have received, and your health care visits.

If you would like to participate or be contacted by a study team member, please complete the form below with your contact information. You will be contacted by a Project PREVENT team member to determine whether you qualify to participate.

For more details about the project, see our Frequently Asked Questions.
