Introducing Visium Spatial Transcriptomics: Applications and Core Services
A Spatial Transcriptomics Service is now available to University of Iowa investigators. Spatial Transcriptomics combines the use of histology and NGS-based gene profiling techniques to map the gene expression profiles of cell as they reside in the tissue. This seminar will illustrate how the 10X Genomics Visium spatial transcriptomics can be utilized to provide insights into the complexity and diversity of diseased samples from fresh frozen and FFPE slides with spatial information. Case studies and the service from sample submission through data analysis will be presented as well. There will also be some exciting updates about how you can get access to advancements of Visium bioanalysis packages.
