What is Proceedings in Obstetrics and Gynecology?

Proceedings in Obstetrics and Gynecology, POG, is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published three times a year by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.


What is the purpose of POG?

The purpose of POG is to provide case reports and peer-reviewed articles. POG addresses clinical care, education, and research topics related to obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health.


Who reads POG?

POG has readers from around the world. Some of our most popular papers have been about pregnancy and Lyme Disease and vulvar contact dermatitis. On average, POG has approximately 20,000 full-text downloads annually.


Who can submit an article?

Anybody may submit an article. POG considers all original papers for publication.
