David K. Meyerholz, DVM, PhD

Professor of Pathology

Introduction

Research Summary

Dr. Meyerholz studies lung diseases and the goals of his research are to define disease pathogenesis, identify new biomarkers and evaluate novel treatments. He has research interests in cystic fibrosis and viral diseases of the lung (e.g. SARS-CoV2, MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV). Dr. Meyerholz is well-published and has served in editorial and reviewer roles at several scientific journals.
