Partnerships
The Department of Pediatrics has many public and private partnerships and collaborations which share the goal of improving the health of Iowans including the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH), the Iowa Department of Human Services, the Iowa Department of Education, and the Iowa Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. These shared initiative provide effective leadership and expertise to deliver successful outcomes.
Through our partnerships with IDPH and UI Health Care Outreach, we reach children and families throughout Iowa. This enables many of Iowa's children and families to have access to expert specialty care within their own communities through consultation, UI outreach clinics and telehealth.
