Iowa Urology: Spring 2024

News from the University of Iowa Department of Urology

Chair’s Message

Urology’s largest gathering of the year — the Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association — takes place from May 3 to 6 in San Antonio. Our team always sends an enthusiastic group of presenters and speakers to this event to spread the word about the advances we’re making in the field.

This year’s group of presentations is impressive and diverse, with something of interest to everyone — genitourinary reconstruction, pediatric urology, and urologic oncology. And our presenters include more than just faculty. We’ll also be represented by resident physicians and a research fellow. That speaks to our department’s high standards for excellence, which prepare all of our people to play a part on urology’s biggest stage.

I invite you to browse our complete list of AUA presentations and see for yourself the work we’re doing to serve our patients in new and exciting ways.
