2019 Carver College of Medicine commencement ceremony guide

Graduates of the Carver College of Medicine and their families and friends are invited to the college’s second spring 2019 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 17. Earlier this month, the BS programs held their commencement.

  • 2-4 p.m. reception for graduates, family, and friends at the Medical Education Research Facility
  • 6:30 p.m. commencement ceremony in Hancher Auditorium, 141 Park Rd.

Here are the numbers of degrees being awarded this year

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD): 143, including 5 graduates in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD, PhD)
  • Masters in Medical Education (MME): 6
  • Bachelor of Science (BS): 49, which includes:
    • 38 in the Radiation Sciences program
    • 7 in the Nuclear Medicine Technology program
    • 4 in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program
