G. Patrick Kealey, MD, 66BA, 69MD, 75MS, 77R-Surgery, has been selected as a recipient of the 2015 University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Service Award. Established in 1998, the Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize University of Iowa graduates who have transcended their fundamental roles as health care providers, scientists, and educators to become influential participants in the advancement of the art and science of medicine. 

One of the highest honors the Carver College of Medicine can bestow on a graduate, the Service Award honors an alumnus for meritorious leadership and service in a professional capacity or in the broader community.

Kealey will be presented with the honor during an awards ceremony and luncheon on Friday, June 12 at the Levitt Center for University Advancement.
