Dermatologists from UI Hospitals and Clinics offered free skin cancer screening Saturday, Aug. 22, in Kalona, in conjunction with the 2015 Courage Ride. 

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. When caught early, most skin cancers can be cured, even melanoma (the deadliest form of skin cancer). Cyclists are at high risk of developing skin cancers because of their long exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
