The Division of Continuing Medical Education is committed to strengthening the knowledge and clinical practice expertise of physicians in a rapidly evolving health care environment.

Hardin Library for the Health Sciences

The mission of the Hardin Library is to disseminate health sciences information to the students, faculty and staff of the University of Iowa in support of education, research, and health care, and to preserve the scholarly record for the future.

MedVision Closed-circuit Communication Monitors

The MedVision communication system utilizes LCD monitors throughout the College to broadcast important information.  Information may be uploaded and scheduled for display. Individuals on the Carver College of Medicine Campus may also view the posted announcements online.

Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education

The Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education (OCRME) provides coordination of services and products that support curriculum development, faculty development, measurement, evaluation and educational research.

Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion assists departments in recruitment efforts to attract individuals from diverse backgrounds. The Office is also available to support faculty and staff through community-building events, professional development activities, and diversity and inclusion related educational programs.

Office of Faculty Affairs and Development 

The Office of Faculty Affairs and Development provides support and advocacy for the growth and development of faculty in their chosen areas of teaching, research, clinical care, service, and/or administration.

Office of Information Technology

The Office of Information Technology provides support in the coordination or creation of appropriate I.T. solutions for the College community.  The Office oversees project management, consulting, desktop support, classroom and meeting technologies, web and graphic design.

Office of Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources assists staff, administrators and faculty in identifying and developing innovative and responsive solutions to human resource and workforce development needs.

Office of Statewide Clinical Education Programs

The Office of Statewide Clinical Education Programs (OSCEP) coordinates the College's community-based medical education, involving medical students, residents and physician assistant students.

Office of Research

The Office of Research is charged with providing and coordinating resources for College investigators in both clinical and basic research endeavors.

Reserve a room on campus for a meeting or event.  Login credentials are required to fill out the request form.
