The Department of Biology is starting a Career Seminar Series where we will have alumni give a talk to current students about their career and experiences. We plan to have at least one speaker per semester. Our first career seminar speaker is Jennifer DeVries (BS Biomedical Sciences and Microbiology, 2024). Jennifer’s talk will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 106, Biology Building East (BBE). She is currently an Advanced Quality Control Microbiologist at Procter & Gamble and is pursuing a Master of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry at the University of Florida. Jennifer will discuss her own professional journey as well as job-seeking tips and undergraduate activities students should consider to benefit their job search.

All students are invited! We hope you can join us on Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m.! Light refreshments will be provided.
