Programs and Workshops

The Medical Student Counseling Center (MSCC) offers outreach and prevention services for medical, PA, and MSTP students. MSCC staff give presentations and workshops on a variety of mental health and academic topics such as, stress management, suicide prevention, study skills, test anxiety, career specialty choice, and residency preparation. Presentation and workshop announcements are sent to students via e-mail throughout the year.

MSCC staff are also eager to work with CCOM staff, faculty, and students to create programs that meet the needs of medical, PA, and MSTP students. If you are interested in a program for your student organization, learning community, or course, please contact the Clinical Services and Outreach Coordinator by phone at 319-335-8056 or email osac-mscc@uiowa.edu.
