The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is pleased to announce the second cohort of Stead Family Scholars. The goal of this program is to recognize and advance the development of outstanding early-career faculty who are becoming internationally recognized leaders in their respective fields of research.

The Research Distinction Track at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine offers students opportunities that only an academic medical center can provide. Two of the track’s alumni share how the experience shaped their trajectories in medicine.
