Each Semester, The National Student National Medical Association Health Policy and Legislative Affiars (HPLA) committee provides financial assistance to SNMA and MAPS chapters interested in developing policy and advocacy projects! There is one grant available each Fall and Spring. Chapter projects should align with the mission and goals of the SNMA and should ideally relate to one of the efforts coordinated by HPLA.   This Spring 2020, CCOM SNMA Chapter was awarded the Health Policy and Advocacy Grant.  CCOM SNMA Chapter's project includes a Black Maternal Health Initiative which will be presented at the 2021 SNMA Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.
