The University of Iowa Department of Dermatology is seeking faculty for a position in General Dermatology. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor level and to either the tenure track, research track or clinical (non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and research interest. Appointment to the rank of Instructor (non-tenure track) may also be considered.

University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a pediatric cardiologist for our Des Moines, Iowa location.â¯Appointment will be a open rank clinical track position. â¯The individual selected will join the Division of Cardiology to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services as a pediatric cardiologist.
The Division of Cardiology at the University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics provides compassionate, family-centered, and state-of-the-art delivery of care to children and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. Patients are followed through the transition to adulthood.â¯Dedicated staff have expertise in acquired heart diseases such as cardiomyopathies, cardiac arrhythmias, blood lipid disorders, congenital heart disease, cardiac dysfunction in malignancy, and cardiac implications associated with pediatric obesity. The division provides the only expertise for electrophysiology, diagnostic, interventional and transplant services for children and youth in the state of Iowa. Skilled surgical support and exceptional critical care postoperative support has outcomes that have excellent results in national databases. The division has a multi-purpose diagnostic and interventional procedure lab which is constantly expanding and including state-of-the-art technologies.â¯

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The University of Iowa Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics seeks outstanding candidates for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor rank.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and a robust, hypothesis driven research program focused at the molecular, cell biological, or organismal level demonstrated through a strong publication record. We are particularly interested in individuals whose research interests and expertise will complement the existing research in our department such as membrane protein biophysics and physiology, membrane trafficking, and signal transduction. We are also interested in individuals who have research interests that align with one or more of the major Centers in the Carver College of Medicine such as the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Iowa Neuroscience Institute, Francois M. Abboud Cardiovascular Research Center, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center.

SURGICAL ONCOLOGY BREAST SURGEON

University of Iowa Health Care invites applicants specializing in Breast Surgery for a faculty position in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals pursuing an academic career in breast surgery. Appointment will be for Assistant or Associate Professor in either the non-tenure clinical-track or tenure track consistent with experience and research interest.
The selected candidate will be appointed to Iowa’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, which houses the University of Iowa’s NAPBC-accredited breast center. They will join a high-volume, breast-only practice alongside three fellowship-trained surgeons, collaborating within a multidisciplinary breast oncology team in a collegial and supportive environment.
We seek candidates who are committed to academic excellence, research, and education. The successful applicant will have opportunities to engage in clinical research, translational science, and/or health services research, with access to robust institutional resources and mentorship to support their academic development. Candidates on the tenure track must have experience in research at a level that enables procurement of external funding.
