More than 150 University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine students showed up at the Francis X. Cretzmeyer Track Sept. 20, for the third annual Carver Black and Gold Mile Run.

Growing up in the South helped shape the person Andrea Marshall, PhD, is today. Marshall encourages young Black students to consider scientific careers.
